Privacy policy

Summary

PinTidy keeps your data in your browser. We do not collect, sell or share your searches, your collected business lists or your browsing activity. The extension makes only two kinds of network request: website checks that you start, and license validation if you use a Pro key.

What the extension handles and where it stays

• Business listings you load on www.google.com/maps (business name, category, rating, review count, public phone number, website, address, hours note, Maps link and coordinates). These are read from the page you are viewing and saved in Chrome's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local) on your computer so you can export them. They are never sent to us.
• Website check results (ok / no HTTPS / dead) for each business website, cached locally for 7 days.
• Your settings (filter, phone country) and, if you enter one, your license key and its last validation result, stored locally.
• CSV files you export are saved by Chrome to your computer like any download.

You can delete everything with Clear collected list in the extension, or by removing the extension.

Network requests

1. Website checks (only when you press "Check websites"). The extension sends a HEAD (or, if needed, GET) request to each business website in your list to see whether it loads over HTTPS. These requests go directly from your browser to those websites, without cookies; those sites see an ordinary request from your IP address. Nothing is sent to us. Chrome asks for your permission first; you can revoke it any time.
2. License validation (only if you enter a Pro key). The extension sends the license key to https://pintidy.telep.io/api/verify, about every 3 days. The key contains a reference to your Stripe checkout session and nothing else. Our server checks with Stripe that the payment is valid and replies yes or no. Cloudflare, which hosts the server, processes your IP address to deliver the request; we do not keep request logs for analytics.

There are no analytics, ads, trackers, remote code or third-party SDKs in the extension.

Purchases

If you buy Pro, payment is processed by Stripe under Stripe's privacy policy. Stripe shares with us the details needed to run the sale (your email address, the plan, payment status, and billing country/address if collected). We use them only to deliver and support your license, handle refunds, and meet tax and accounting obligations. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Limited use

The use of information received from the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell user data, use it for advertising or creditworthiness, or transfer it except as described above.

The data you export

Exported lists contain public business information. You decide what to do with it and are responsible for complying with applicable laws (for example GDPR, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, PECR, CASL) and Google's terms. Do not use it for unsolicited mass email or SMS.

Children

PinTidy is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.
